Sometimes when making pictures you don’t see the possibilities of two images working together until well after the making. Maybe on a contact sheet, or in front of the computer, does one see the potential of placing two pictures together. This combination isn’t perfect, the space between the images needs to be removed, but I haven’t figured out how to do that on Squarespace. I like the individuality of each image, they speak to documentary moments. But when squeezed together, boundaries touching, they become something else. Still those facts, that evidence, but now with a surreal, but almost believable, look.
