Not long after meeting in the mid-1980s, the three of us discovered our birthdays were all in December and within a few days of each other. Larry on the 21st, Benjamin on the 30th, and me on the 28th. We also discovered a mutual love of line dancing. Photographer extraordinaire Cordelia Williams made this wonderful image of us and then turned it into a fabric sculpture that I am fortunate to have hanging in my studio. Thank you Cordelia for this great memory and Happy Birthday to Larry and Benjamin, my fellow December-born photographer buddies.
